Front Flying
From Acrobalance
AKA Bird, Airplane, Front Plank
Front flying is a great beginner pose. Many poses either start or end up here so it is a good thing to learn to be comfortable with.
Mounting
Have the base lay down on their back and bend and the hips and knees bringing the feet up in the air. Have the flyer stand at the bases feet facing the base. The base can place their feet on the flyer's hips and then have the flyer lean forward and gradually give their weight to the base. It is important for the base to bring the weight of the flyer directly over their hips. If the flyer is not brought far enough forward it can be very difficult to properly lift them into the air.
Notes
The base's feet may be parallel or turned outwards. Parallel feet offer more control.
